In the years since he opened, Mun Kim, head chef at MUN (awarded 15 points in the 2019 edition of Gault&Millau), has had the pleasure not only of delighting many gourmet visitors with his cuisine, focussed on traditional Japanese sushi and Korean cooking. He’s also received ample critical acclaim. The jury for the Gourmet Award, bestowed every two years by the Süddeutsche Zeitung for the most innovative restaurant concept in Munich, selected him as winner in 2018.
